The City Clerk duties include:
  • Prepares agendas and keeps minutes of all City Council meetings

  • Coordinates recruitment effort for the City's various boards, commissions, and committees
  • Management of all public records of the City
  • Responsible for the Official City Seal
  • Serves as the Public Information Officer for the City
  • Serves as a point of contact for City Council
  • Serves as a network support resource for City staff and provides network and software support services
  • Perform such other duties as may be required by the laws of the State, City ordinances or as the Mayor or City Council may direct

PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS 
You may drop your request off in the drop-box located outside City Hall or submit it online at Public Records Request or Police Records Request. Submitting your request online is the quickest, cheapest, and easiest way to submit a request and receive records. Oftentimes, copy fees are waived for online requests (depending on number of records supplied per customer). You may also mail or email your request to the following:
